Disney's "John Carter" continues to be the source of The movies tongue-wagging for months: this massively-budgeted action/adventure can be helmed by Andrew Stanton, a director best regarded for his work within animation, and features a personality who's largely unknown to help contemporary audiences. It's finally hitting theaters, along with "Silent Household, " which stars Elizabeth Olsen being a young woman trapped within a secluded dwelling, and "A Thousand Words, " starring Eddie Murphy as a man left speechless. After earning near-universal acclaim pertaining to "Finding Nemo" and "WALL-E, " Pixar wiz Andrew Stanton uses a big leap into live action filmmaking while using much-ballyhooed "John Carter. " The result, critics say, is something of some sort of mixed bag: while "John Carter" appears terrific and delivers the share of pulpy enjoyment, it also suffers from uneven pacing and from time to time incomprehensible plotting and portrayal. Taylor Kitsch plays your title character, a Civil War animal medical practitioner who finds himself teleported to Mars and amid a conflict between warring tribes. "Silent House"
Right off the bat, "Silent House" has a pair of intriguing points in it's favor: the whole film will be one long unbroken photo, and it stars outstanding Elizabeth Olsen. But while critics point out the movie is atmospheric and infrequently quite chilling, its climax is a huge letdown. During a weekend continue to be at her family's sea house, Sarah (Olsen) turns into trapped by menacing intruders and ominous noises. For the next hour and a half, Sarah tries to uncover the nature of this malicious force – and evade with her life.
