Let me preface that my definition of "up and coming" does not mean these three actors are in any way novices to acting. They have all been acting a long time but recently they've been seen in successful blockbusters. Their names are beginning to pop up and become well known. Here they are my three favorite up and comers!
Tom Hiddleston
Tom Hiddleston is currently one of the breakout stars from the Marvel film Thor. He plays the mischievous (but complicated) Loki, the brother of Thor. Lately, Tom Hiddleston has blown up the Internet and thousands of teenager girls minds in the mega-hit of the summer The Avengers, reprising his role of Loki. Hiddleston's adorable smile, impeccable acting, and his transformation from mischievous brother to full out villain received him enormous praise for the film. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Tom Hiddleston is a stage actor at heart, which is obvious by his outstanding performances. His acting really will send chills down your spine; I've included some of his films below that I've loved!

Jessica Chastain
Ms. Jessica Chastain is the newest redhead to pop up on the Hollywood scene. After graduating from Julliard, she went onto several television and film roles until staring in The Tree of Life, directed by well-known director Terrance Malick. The film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and received 3 nominations at the Academy Awards. Her next film The Help won worldwide acclaim and earned her an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress. Her wide range and vulnerability in her films are just a few reasons why the sky is the limit for her. She certainly has a long career to come!

Elizabeth Olsen
Although I'm sure everyone recognizes her last name, in case you don't, Elizabeth Olsen in the younger sister to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (the keepers of my childhood). While MK and Ashley have immersed themselves in their fashion empire and taken a step back from acting, their little sister has taken a huge leap forward. Only twenty-three years old, Elizabeth Olsen has already survived a childhood with her family in the limelight, graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and established herself as a major talent. Her breakout film, Martha Marcy May Marlene, received rave reviews. Her performance as a traumatized young woman battling paranoia after escaping an abusive cult garnered incredible reviews and praise. Olsen's acting is raw and engaging to watch and more impressively this is her first motion picture!
