Although stars weren't hitting the red carpet last week in thigh-high minis or blouses with plunging necklines, they still managed to ooze sex appeal in tailored, menswear-inspired suits.
Angelina Jolie arrived at the Women in the World: Stories Solutions event at NYC's Lincoln Center March 8 clad in a black and white ensemble by Gucci. After making a statement in a leg-baring number at the Oscars Feb. 26, the tailored trousers managed to cover both her stems.
On March 7, Gwyneth Paltrow looked chic in an all-black outfit consisting of a blazer and capri pants with rolled cuffs and point-toe heels at the Louis Vuitton-Marc Jacobs: The Exhibition event in Paris.
Jolie wasn't the only star in the Big Apple trying out the androgynous trend on March 8 -- Elizabeth Olsen chose a red velour suit for her appearance on the Today show, which she teamed with peep-toe pumps.
On March 4, Jennifer Morrison donned a tuxedo-inspired look, complete with a black skinny tie and a crisp white oxford shirt, at the Once Upon A Time event in Beverly Hills.
