McDonalds has a long tradition of introducing new menu items, many of which become a yearly tradition or a random treat like the Shamrock Shake or the McRib sandwich. There has been a lot of buzz about their newest treat, so I just had to give it a try.
Their new "Signature Pie," is S'more flavored, with Chocolate and Marshmallows. The S'more is holiday tradition, and I think it's no surprise to see it come out so close to the fourth of July. Looking at the pie out of the box it's certainly not as impressive as their promotional pictures, but really what is? The important thing is the taste.

So how's it taste? Pretty good actually. It has a nice balance of flavors and the crispy crust does have a nice graham cracker taste to round out the pie. This is not going to Wow people, but for $0.89 it's well worth its price.
I admit when I say the promotional pictures for it I imagine it was going to taste just like a s'more Pop-tart, and really, it's not too far off. It's has a marshmallow creme taste rather than a an actual toasted marshmallow.
At the end of the day the real question is "Would I get it again"? Yes, I sure would. Go check it out today and let us know what you think in the comments below.
