Quentin Tarantino To Return To The Western | Movie Cricket

Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that his next movie will be a Western.

No, it won’t be a sequel to Django Unchained, but Quentin Tarantino will be making another Western as his next movie.

With the highly successful Django Unchained saga is over, Quentin Tarantino can turn his attention to his next project. The movie starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Leonardo Di Caprio bagged another Oscar as well as a gold rush in the Box Office. Tarantino was always going to have free choice of what movie he makes next, however with his love for the Western being common knowledge and the success of Django, it is not a surprise to see Tarantino return to the genre.

Tarantino went onto The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in the US yesterday, to reveal just what he was going to be up to next. He told Leno that his next film is going to be a western again, adding that “I had so much fun doing Django, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like ‘okay, let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing’”.

Quentin Tarantino is keeping the rest of the details close to his chest for the time being. He’s not known to rush to make new films, so it may yet be a while before we find out more, but we’ll be the first to let you know.
